II. Spiritual Warfare Is Not Cowboys and Indians
1. We don’t have to go “fight” Satan or “find” Satan
2. The enemy, sin and the World were ALL defeated at the Cross of Christ
3. When we “war” or fight as fighting in air – we’ve already lost the battle
4. ALL SPIRITUAL VICTORY over the enemy comes from the Cross and the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT (1 John 4:4, 16:33, Col 2:14-15)
5. Sin – We can’t RENOUNCE sin OUT of our lives; we repent and TURN from sin; law gives sin its strength
6. Satan in turn then has a legal right into our lives because of the sin nature; but once that nature stops having its dominion, so does Satan stop having HIS dominion!
7. The World’s ways – lust of the eyes, flesh and PRIDE Of life war against the believer’s MIND
8. Satan Warns against our HEARTS
9. The FLESH wars against the SPIRIT and SOUL!
10. We are not called to WAR; we’re called to fight the good fight of faith through Christ. AND STAND

1. Be strong in the Lord (Eph. 6:10).
2. Be strong in His power (Eph. 6:10).
3. Put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:11).
4. Stand (Eph. 6:13-14).
5. Have your loins girded with truth (Eph. 6:14).
6. Put on the breastplate of righteousness (Eph. 6:14).
7. Have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace (Eph. 6:15).
8. Take the shield of faith (Eph. 6:16).
9. Take the helmet of salvation (Eph. 6:17).
10. Take the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17).
11. Pray in the Spirit (Eph. 6:18).
12. Watch in prayer (Eph. 6:18).

IN HIS POWER – The POWER OF THE CROSS!! There is no other power anywhere else – LAW cannot cause warfare to stop or cease!! Christ didn’t defeat Satan with the Law He defeated HIM BY DEATH
The Power of HIS MIGHT
1. The Power of God is In the TRUTH of God (John 8:32)
2. The Word of God is the TRUTH and if the Word is removed from the message of the Cross and vice versa it has become another gospel
3. The Word of God is DIPPED IN BLOOD in Revelation 19:12-13
4. The Word of God is being divorced from the POWER and STRENGTH of God’s MIGHT – the HOLY SPIRIT- WHY?
5. Because the apostate church has divorced the Person of Christ from the BLOOD which divorces Him from the Cross
6. If our FAITH is not anchored in the Cross we have perverted the Word and all preaching that is void of the Cross I.e. HUMANISTIC PSYCHOLOGY, ETC. is perverted
7. Satan did same with Christ – Matthew 4:1-10; Matthew 16:21-23 – CP Matthew 16:24
PUT ON
1. 1 Thes 5:8, Paul often uses such language; This armor is MODELED on what God wears HIMSELF! (Isaiah 11:5, 59:17)
2. It is a FULL ARMOR – GREEK: PANOPLIA – WHOLE ALL THE WEAPONS, We NEED THE WHOLE not just PARTS!
3. STAND – HOLDING ONES POSITION, AGAINST the foretold hostility of the world, flesh and Satan against the Believer!
4. AGAINST is used FOUR TIMES!! Eph 6:12
5. STAND – THREE Times – Eph 6:13-14
6. These principalities are sent to destroy the UNITY in the Body of Christ, the Church, and the VICTORY of The Christian THROUGH FALSE DOCTRINE and the FORMENTING OF DIVISION, SLANDER AND LIES.
7. The WILES – The Strategies of Satan, Cunning, Deceitfulness, Craft (WITCHCRAFT), TRICKERY, devices – all referring to those who would lead people away from SOUND DOCTRINE into Fables
8. Put – “to ENVELOP In, To HIDE IN, TO CLOTHE With.”
